Sherlock Holmes

It is with great trepidation that I submit Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Trying to stay true to Watson's description of "Bohemian" I went for someone who was a bit of a dandy...a nineteenth century beatnik of sorts, highly amused by the world though not entirely a part of it. For those who are counting this is black and white illustration number two for my "Boscombe Valley Mystery" project. And yes...he has a hobbit pipe. Pen and ink on Bristol Board.
