Welcome to Medford House

May the Ladies of Medford House bid ye welcome and respite...

So, inspired by the world of Elan by Michael J Sullivan, Gwen DeLancy stands proudly in front of Medford House, technically a house of ill-repute, but turned by her into a place of relative commercial empowerment.  Boy that sounds a bit dull, eh?  Actually, she's a really great character, as are all major female characters in The Riyria Chronicles/Revelations.  If you haven't found out this series look it up, it is pretty awesome.

I've said before, say again, that to illustrate Riyria would be an absolute dream-job!  So, I've spent a few years now thinking of these stories and came up with the idea of the kingdom of Melengar (of which Medford is the capitol) being inspired by 16th Century Bavaria, so that means designing "kampfrau" dresses and "landsknecht" clothing.  A lot of fun since my family originates from Munich (ish).
